Mrs. Julie Culotta
St. Joseph School welcomes Mrs. Julie Culotta for the 2018-2019 school year. Mrs. Culotta is a dedicated church musician and educator, and is thrilled to join the faculty and staff of St. Joseph Parish and School where she serves as the K-8 Music Teacher and as the Youth Music Minister. She directs the SJP Youth Choir for students in 1st-7th grades and the SJP Contemporary Youth Ensemble for 8th-12th graders. She is also the founding Artistic Director of the Deer Creek Youth Choir, (DCYC) a community choral organization for young singers in Harford and Northern Baltimore counties.
Mrs. Culotta is serves on the Maryland Choral Educator Association board and is a dedicated member of ACDA, NAfME and Chorus America. She enjoys working with honor choirs, judging for choral assessments and adjudications, and sharing her love for choral repertoire and rehearsal strategies at state and regional conferences. Mrs. Culotta lives in Lutherville, MD with her husband Dave and their children, Adelyn, Cooper and Camden.
