Teaches: 5th Grade and Middle School Science and 8th Grade Homeroom

Other teaching experience: Taught 5th grade for 6 years; experience teaching grades kindergarten, third, fourth, seventh and eighth in a variety of subjects ranging from mathematics to Language Arts to Science and History.

Undergraduate degree: Communications; minor in Business Marketing from Franciscan University of Steubenville

Other degree(s): Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Notre Dame in Maryland. Certified in grades 1-6 (Elementary Education) and 5-9 (Middle School Science).

Adjunct Professor, Towson University: Teaches in the area of science education.

Interests/hobbies: Member of the Maryland Defense Force band, a uniformed organization of volunteers that represents and provides musical support for the Maryland Defense Force, the 229th Army Band and supplemental professional support to the Maryland Military Department and the Maryland National Guard. Playing the trumpet, almost anything science-related. The mission of the Maryland Defense Force Band is to enhance community relations, recruitment, and morale within the state of Maryland.

What I like most about teaching: I love learning new things!
